On the latest Mercedes news, this amazing car brand chalks up a wonderful feature on one of its models once again in the form of an ISO Environmental Certificate for being ecologically compatible with the world. The Mercedes-Benz B-Class has more green features than the average Japanese car. The latest B-Class model, B 180 has been gauged to generate 16% less carbon dioxide than its forerunner. And not only that, with the utilization of the BlueEfficiency technologies which deals with energy management, aerodynamics, the study of reduced rolling resistance on car tires, full utilization of powertrain, and weight reduction guidelines, fuel use has shown to have been reduced up to a whopping 19%. The Mercedes-Benz B 18o has ultimately become a virtual green car.

In addition to this, at least seventy-five components used in the manufacture of the B 180 are made from high-quality recycled plastics.  And some 21 other components inside the B 180 contain natural materials which makes the B 180 meet the required recycling level of 95% by weight. This recycling feature will be a requirement on January 1, 2015 and Mercedes has made it a point to be years ahead. Other parts of the B 180 that undergo reprocessing include battery housings and bumper panels. All these salvaging processes are performed in the Mercedes-Benz Recycling System or MeRSy unit.

In other Mercedes-related news, a survey was done on six thousand British shoppers asking them which brand they would recommend most to people that they know. Ranking second with 66% is Mercedes-Benz outclassing other big name brands such as the Apple iPhone and Audi, both in third and ninth. The conductors of the survey, Bain & Company, report that the individual’s relationship with friends and partners are the moving factor in the choices that they made.

postheadericon Tesla Builds Electric Car for Mercedes-Benz

Now that Telsa Motors is moving forward in building its own electric car model with its Model S; it has recently released details of its deal with Mercedes-Bens building a power train for the said vehicle.
Tesla is now rounding up the production of its Model S, which is expected to triple the company’s earning when it goes on sale in early 2012. Tesla is also on the planning of launching its second super sedan with its Model X by the end of 2012.With its own electric car, Tesla is trying to cut down its loses before the company go in full production of its Model S sedan. The Mercedes-Bens deal will provide Tesla to continue its commitment in providing power trains to other car makes.
Tesla will be building the Mercedes’ battery packs as well as its motor. Tesla will also provide for its gear box and all related software for its dashboards and electronics. Spies are all speculating that the deal will bring increased sales for Tesla this year. The contract has the production to start in the second quarter of 2012. There is still no confirmation coming from Mercedes-Benz but Tesla in the past years has worked with Daimler in its all electric car experiment providing battery packs and chargers.
Mercedes-Benz electric vehicles have been getting the test grounds and Daimler Company is happy with the feedbacks they have been receiving. However, it is now clear with the company that its Mercedes-Benz G Glass is nearing its end as Daimler has unveiled the last edition of this very practical car in the European market. Its fate is different from the Land Rover Defender, which will have a successor that will run on DC concept cars.
There are also rumors that the German automaker is undergoing prototype testing for its G55 AMG somewhere in Southern California’s desserts. Spies claim that the model is carrying a new engine of 563 horsepower. They’re speculating that the test vehicles will be sporting the same 6.2 liter V-8. A second vehicle is also spotted being tested in the cold Arctic and the vehicles also have the enlarged intakes.
Mercedes- Benz is not keen on confirming these speculations but stated that there’s something going on for its G55 but their lips are closed. Mercedes on the other hand is banking on its 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL Class that has been previously launched at the Detroit Auto Show to claim back its superiority as a supercar.

Earlier this month, tuning specialist Brabus introduced their latest project called the new W246 Mercedes B-Class. This new package has a lot of modifications and upgrades to give it more aggressive and sophisticated look for this year. There are several highlights of the new W246 Mercedes B-Class including the modified rear and front diffusers, the side skirts, the quad exhaust tips, and the 19 inch rims courtesy of Brabus. Many people are saying that this could be not the most masculine version of Mercedes lineups, but it is considered to be as one of the most excellent vehicles for the Mercedes B-Class models. This new tuning project from Brabus has been receiving numerous feedbacks from critics all over the world. 
Meanwhile, the new Mercedes A-Class design was announced too soon. There have been many speculations regarding the new design of the A-Class model after the testing of the Mercedes A25 AMG early in January this year. One of the highlights of the new A-Class is the aggressive headlights design. On the other hand, the original concept of the A-Class model still remains intact. The new Mercedes A-Class model is set to be announced in Geneva by March this year. The Mercedes A25 AMG is on its way to be released in North America within this year. One of the main features of the A25 AMG is the remarkable 340hp 2.0 liter direct injected 4 cylinder turbo engine. Let us wait until the new model will be officially released before the end this year.
In other news, MRC Tuning released the new model called the Mercedes C63 AMG M156. It features an exclusive ECU tuner, which offers an increase of 67hp over stock, and a Cartec dynamometer, which involves reading the crank values. The ECU remapping is considered to be the major highlight of this new project from MRC. The UK tuning specialist has been working on several platforms this year including Audi, Lamborghini, Porsche, and most especially the Mercedes market all throughout this season.
The new Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe was first spotted in New York City. This model features AD.1 wheels, matt black finish with brushed outers and clearcoat accents. Finally, the new Mercedes B-Class modified by Brabus has launched in the market this month. One of the major highlights of this exclusive and exceptional tuning program is the sporty-look exterior design. There are several new features of the new model including the interior accessories, the new alloy wheels, and the front spoilers.

Wald international greeted the year with a start off and tuned Mercedes=Benz CLS 63 AMG. The tuning company has made the great looking 2012 CLS more aggressively looking with its Wald International Black Bison kits from their famous line of aerodynamic parts.
Wald International, a Japanese tuning company has done several tuning wrapped with Porsche sporting the Black Bison treatment and now starting the 2012; they have turned their expert craftsmanship on Mercedes CLS 63 AMG and add a new host of chic additions to this cool car. 
The new additions include a new carbon fiber bumper with great looking custom air vents and blacked out grille. It also has new features of new rocker panel complete with rear bumper and diffuser. It also sports a new roof spoiler and a new rear spoiler on the trunk.
Equipped with their Black Bison Kit, Wald international has focused only on the upgrade of the CLS AMG, they have done a great make over by adding a new set of alloy rims and come up wrapped in a high performing tires. The makeover does not stop from there as these alloy rim and tires are finished in black. This black finish matched the black exterior paint making the car look as impressive as it is.
